Description

CAPACITY PLANNING FOR OVERLOADED TEAMS

Creating Sustainable Workloads for Faith-Driven Teams

May 20, 2026 | 12:00–1:30 p.m. (CT)

Zoom | Free to attend

Many ministry teams are deeply committed to their missions but chronically overextended. This Lunch & Learn focuses on capacity planning as a faithful leadership practice, helping leaders assess what their teams can realistically carry without sacrificing health or effectiveness.

We’ll name the hidden assumptions that lead to overload and explore tools for aligning expectations with available time, energy, and skills.

What to Expect:

  • A framework for evaluating capacity at both the individual and team level

  • Tools to clarify priorities, adjust scope, and make thoughtful tradeoffs

  • Insight into the root causes of overload—and how to address them

  • Practical language for honest, grace-filled capacity conversations

This session is especially designed for managers, program directors, and team leaders who assign work, set priorities, or steward limited staff capacity.

This event will be held virtually on Zoom. Bring your lunch, your questions, and a real-world workload challenge you’d like to unpack!
