Session one of our free four-part GROWING YOUR GIVING COMMUNITY fundraising program, this workshop will help you raise more money and turn your fundraising events into powerful opportunities for community-building and mission sharing.

Designed for staff and board members engaged in fundraising, this interactive session will give you practical strategies for planning events that do more than raise money, but that deepen relationships and expand your circle of engaged, passionate supporters.

Both newcomers and seasoned fundraisers will explore their own successes and challenges while discovering fresh approaches from our experts and peers. Whether you're planning your first fundraiser or refining your tried-and-true annual gala, you'll leave with ideas drawn from collective wisdom and proven practices.

 

Part of our four-part GROWING YOUR GIVING COMMUNITY series, but designed to deliver value whether you attend one session or all four.

This session will be offered twice with identical content, once on April 2, 2026 and again on April 30, 2026.

 

 

This free workshop will be led by Julie Kouri, a long-time nonprofit leader, advisor, and coach with experience designing and leading multiple kinds of large and small fundraising events. The former Founder and long-time Executive Director of Fostering Hope, and now the Executive Director of Good Works Community, Julie understands well how to lead a faith-based nonprofit organizations, and how to connect deeply with and minister to donors. Julie is also certified in the national Christian fundraising program developed by Mission Increase, and serves as the Central Texas regional director for Mission Increase.
